Walking with Moms in Need

Throughout the month of October – Respect Life Month – Catholics across Minnesota continue to take the challenge to walk with moms in need by supporting their local pregnancy resource center. We hope the following stories will give you some great ideas of how you too can support moms in need.

Our church is collecting money in baby bottles for the Alpha Women’s Center in Savage, Minnesota.

I am donating the money I was given for Frontline Worker pay by the state of MN to Tandem Pregnancy Center in Minneapolis because unfortunately, MN is not doing enough to help moms and pregnancy centers. Tandem does an incredible job helping moms and their little ones!

We are working with the local Knights of Columbus to fund an ultrasound machine for the women’s pregnancy center in Fargo.

KC Council 4463 (Immaculate Heart of Mary) is leading the fundraising efforts for an ultrasound machine that will be provided to the new Women's Care Center in Moorhead.  They hope to open soon here in Moorhead.  We have raised over half the cost ($23,540).

I walk weekly at Planned Parenthood in Brooklyn and at Planned Parenthood in St. Paul during special events.  I’m also involved with the Women’s Care Center and Life Matters at St. Stephens in Anoka.
